Jeanne Foster Wardian, 1948-1956

Dr. Jeanne Foster Wardian graduated from Gonzaga in 1952 and taught at Gonzaga as a music instructor 1948-1956. She returned to Gonzaga in 1970 as the first woman in Gonzaga’s history to hold the rank of full professor and served as Dean of the School of Education for fifteen years. She married one of her Glee Club peers, Lloyd Wardian. Lloyd's brother Robert, also a Glee Club member, married another Glee Club member, Joan McKittrick Wardian.
