This exhibit showcases the history of the Gonzaga Glee Club, spanning from 1918-1998, with a concentration on the years 1932-1958, during which Lyle Moore was the Glee Club director. The Glee Club performed extensively in the Spokane area and frequently toured the Northwest and parts of California. The Glee Club also participated in various competitions, notably winninng the Fred Waring Sacred Heart competition in 1952. While an accomplished group, the Glee Club was also a goofy bunch, and formed close life-long friendships, continuing to meet for reunions and reunion performances decades after graduating. The bonds created through making quality music together demonstrate their impact in this exhibit.
