Glee Club concert on June 7, 1946. During a glee club concert under the direction of Walford "Wally" Nelson, Lyle Moore, a former Gonzaga Music Director, was noticed in the audience and invited to the podium. As he walked forward, former Glee Club members, also in the audience, rose and followed him to the stage where they sang again under his direction as they had before the War. It was a stirring event for everyone there
